I have a small problem with my pc. I own a Compaq Presario CQ57 and I recently reinstalled my windows, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, because of a windows problem. The person that installed the windows and drivers, installed the wrong display driver and my PC displays everything in a weird way. The best dimension I can select for my resolution is 1024x768px, but I need a bigger one according for everything to be correctly displayed.

I looked for the drivers, but I can t find the one I need. I higly appreciate any answer.

I search for the following module, which is no longer in production:

What I have found is the Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333MHz SO-DIMM KTH-X3BS/4G notice the S between B and /.

Once installed this module along with the KTH-X3BS/4G my Windows did not start, notifying me that there is significant hardware change, that prevents the OS from starting.

I also tried this module with the same results Windows did not start : Corsair 4GB DDR3 1333MHz CMSO4GX3M1A1333C9

Which model is compatible with my laptop.

Please give me a model, because the situation is rather inconvenient.

I have an HP Pavilion laptop model dv6-2043us, product VM285UA ABA with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. It came with a Toshiba model MK3256GSY, 320GB, 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 2 Hard Drive. I would like to upgrade that hard drive to a 750GB Western Digital model WD7500BPKT 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive.

Will the BIOS recognize that new 750GB drive and will the System Recovery DVD s properly restore the original software to that new 750GB drive.

Yes there should not be a problem. The BIOS will not limit the size of a SATA hard drive and the recovery disk will work on a drive as large or larger than the original. You can also clone the old drive to the new or just use Windows Easy Transfer to create a migration file which will restore your settings and files to the new drive after you put Windows on it. When I started my laptop it was a blank black screen and didn t start up normally. Then after a few minutes a message appears, Windows Boot Manager saying, Windows has failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1.Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.

2.Choose your language settings, and then click Next.

3.Click Repair your computer.

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

I have the P6674y model desktop computer w/ the N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX Alvorix motherboard. The specs say it can only take AM3 socket prossesor, the AMD FX-8350 eight core chip is AM3 socket type, will it work.

I let HP scan my system for missing or out-of-date drivers. It told me that the Realtek Network Driver needed to be updated. I was then taken to a window where I could download this update. But, when i try that, it tells me that I already have this on my computer and do I want to overwrite. Since SCAN says that I need this update, I say yes overwrite. Then it says that access is denied. Soi cannot update this driver, but everytime I run the scan, it still says that I need this update How can I get this update.
